When goalkeepers who are expected to be the most agile people on the pitch are allowed to pursue their careers until the late 30s in the top flight. All this because pace is given too much importance in modern day football. Paul Ince was manager of MK Dons and I am sure he is used to seeing good players who are in their 30s in their league. In his eyes I guess Fowler should have seemed somewhat younger.
